
Course Summary
The BWTM will allow you to implement traffic management plans. In this course, you will cover everything in the BWTM (reading, interpreting and implementing traffic management plans).
Course Outcomes
On completion, you will receive your Main Roads WA accreditation card and certificate (valid for three years) along with a nationally recognised statement of attainment for:
- RIIWHS201E Work Safely and Follow WHS Policies and Procedures
- RIICOM201E Communicate in the Workplace
- RIIWHS302E Implement Traffic Management Plans
Candidate requirements
- Must have good verbal and written comprehension of the English language
- Must have good general health and fitness for practicals (eg. physical work)

- Must hold a valid White Card
- Must be at least 18 years of age
When enrolling for our courses you have to complete the Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment. If you have any concerns about your LLN skills, we encourage you to contact us before enrolling.

This unit involves workplace communication. Learners should be prepared to participate in group discussions and practical communication tasks. - RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
This unit introduces workplace health and safety practices. Learners should be prepared to engage with hazard identification and safety procedures. - RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plans
This unit includes responding to local emergencies. Learners should be able to manage stress and follow instructions in time-sensitive situations.
