Course Summary
This refresher course is designed for those who need to renew their traffic management accreditation.
You will revisit all key components of BWTM, including reading, interpreting, and implementing traffic management plans. The course also reinforces practical skills in manual traffic control using Stop-Slow bats and portable traffic control devices.
Course Outcomes
On completion, you will receive your Main Roads WA accreditation card and certificate (valid for three years) along with a nationally recognised statement of attainment for:
- RIIWHS201E Work Safely and Follow WHS Policies and Procedures
- RIICOM201E Communicate in the Workplace
- RIIWHS302E Implement Traffic Management Plans
- RIIWHS205E Control traffic with Stop-Slow Bat
- RIIWHS206 Control traffic with Portable traffic control devices and temporart signs
- RIIWHS303 Position, set up and program portable traffic devices
Candidate requirements
- Must have good verbal and written comprehension of the English language
- Must have good general health and fitness for practicals (eg. physical work)
