
Course Description
AURTGA001 — Drive and manoeuvre trailers teaches participants the skills and knowledge required to safely drive and manoeuvre vehicles towing trailers. The unit covers pre‑operational checks, safe coupling and uncoupling, load securing and distribution, basic trailer braking and lighting checks, and practical manoeuvring techniques including reversing, turning and parking in a variety of on‑road and off‑road conditions. Training is delivered with a strong emphasis on workplace safety, relevant road rules and practical, hands‑on practice so learners leave confident and competent.
