Course Summary
Intermediate riggingcovers more complex tasks than basic rigging, including the erection of cranes and hoists, rigging for conveyors, tilt slabs, dredges, excavators, and demolition, as well as controlling dual-crane lifts. To perform this work, riggers need a Basic Rigging licence, a minimum age of 18, and must complete nationally accredited training to qualify for an Intermediate Rigging High Risk Work Licence (HRWL), which involves a mix of theory and hands-on practical learning.
